Hello! I am Lex. My partner is Kiera. WE URGENTLY NEED A PLACE TO CALL HOME FOR JANUARY 1ST, 2022 <3

ABOUT US: We are both non-binary neurodiverse humans in our 30’s-40’s. Lex & I are ambiverts with a tendency to be more introverted. However, things such as movie nights or cooking together would be ideal. PS-We LOVE making baked goods :P

We value a warm, creative & nurturing environment; we hope to create that with whoever we are living with. We value honesty, collaboration & symbiosis. (Hope you’re a creative person as well but if not, that’s ok!) 😊 We are omnivores, we love anime, reading, yoga, spending time outdoors, etc. We particularly enjoy spending time on creative endeavours such as making music, writing poetry, painting, etc.

Best of all, we come with a very cute well behaved (primarily) outdoor kitty! He loves to cuddle. I also potentially have furniture, art, etc I can contribute.

HOPING FOR: -A patio or yard space -Pet friendly (1 kitty) -Laundry included & utilities -Semi-furnished or unfurnished is ok -Wheelchair accessible or some level of accessibility -A private bathroom would be great -Ideally, renting a master bedroom :) Open to anything within Victoria or in BC. -Our max room budget is $1000 including utilities -Our max budget for our own place is around $1600 including utilities….looking for 1 bdrm+den OR a 2-3 bedroom

IMPORTANT NOTE: Lex deals with several disabilities (as do I) and they are someone who is immune-compromised so following covid protocols is EXTREMELY important). Cleaning can be a challenge for them occasionally, BUT we work together as a team in all that we do; we will always do our best to clean up after ourselves/reach a mutually beneficial agreement. (For example, Lex’s past roommate despised dealing with anything smelly. Whereas, they are not a huge fan of doing dishes. So they had an arrangement where Lex would take care of the garbage/compost & their roommate would take care of the dishes. It works well for them and we practice doing something similar.)

Please let us know if you have a room available or would be interested in looking together for a house to rent. Both my partner and I are very comfortable with communal living! Ultimately, our goal is to find our forever home with the right people in BC<3 Looking for January 1st or January 15th, 2022.
