Hello potential future roomie(s)! My name is Chelsea, and I am a 22 year old organic farm worker, DIYer, and writer. I am looking for a place in Waterloo in September, when the planting season is over, where I will be returning to my job in retail and receiving at a chain thrift store - a great source for household odds and ends, decor and craft materials. I am an easygoing, minimalistic (quite tidy) and warm person, looking to contribute to a friendly, relaxed household. I am a creature of habit and independence, but I appreciate sharing a space with someone(s) who I am able to cross paths with on occasion, for a nice dinner or to run errands together :).

I have lived in the Waterloo area since I was 19. I attended UW, where I studied Theatrical Production. All of my living situations have been with students (familiar with the need for peace to study & the whole grind in general, aha). In this time, I’ve gotten to know and love the area quite well, and am looking forward to a new place to settle into, and I’m happy to share my knowledge of the area. In my spare time, I enjoy reading (philosophy, art, spirituality, religion, politics), movies, spending time in nature, photography, writing, cooking, making music, and crafting. I am a big fan of a nice long conversation every once in a while if we connect on that level, and happy with the idea of opening up the home for occasional guests and get togethers, permitting the situation with COVID continues to improve.
