Hi 👋 I’m a 23 year old South African journalist immigrating to Canada.

I am quite a philosophical person and believe I am due for a change. My thought process is that by placing myself in a completely different environment and context; I can hope to gain some clarity and perspective on what I want my next steps to be in my life’s journey. I resent feeling stuck and I like to keep things moving and flowing and lively! I aspire to start studying my second degree in Marine Biology once I get settled in (I’m not really one for following convention or a set time-line so not too sure of exactly when.) Ultimately I want to be a marine life and conservation journalist.

What am I like: I am an extrovert with some introverted characteristics. I’m confident and love spending time with friends and I like to go bar hoping on the weekend and thoroughly enjoy a bustling night out at the pub🍻

However, I also like to spend time being academic: analytical, thought-provoking conversations give me life. I love discussing world news. On the flip side, I also love giggling and speaking absolute rubbish. I love literature and reading. Adore anything that falls into the artistic realm. Greatly passionate about the natural world. Plant based eater 🌱. My Spiritual beliefs align with energy flow.

Why I’d be a good roomie: I’m kind, empathetic and helpful. I like outdoors activities (very adventurous and often spontaneous.) I am respectful of boundaries as I expect my boundaries to be respected. I’m looking for my roomie to be a mate as well- someone to debrief with in the evenings.
