Hi I am a 43-year-old professional female looking for one or more female roommates. I would consider sharing with a combination of male(s) and female(s) or other genders, but I prefer to at least initially team up with a female or two. I am looking for October 1 but could move up to 2 weeks earlier or maybe 1 week later than that. I am currently subletting from a family member in the Humber River and Bloor Street (i.e. Old Mill Station area) area and would love to find a place within a few kilometres of there. It would be nice to find something near the Bloor subway line or else a short bus trip from there, preferably West of Dufferin but still in the 416. I am a non-smoker and non-drinker but don’t mind others who use in moderation. I also am not much into partying, although I am fairly tolerant of people playing music as long as it’s not loud enough to keep me from sleeping. I am generally clean and quiet but I do yoga and exercise in the morning, sometimes very early, and it would be nice to have a basement room or apartment/ house floors that aren’t too creaky. I have always been a tidy and respectful roommate and am flexible when it comes to sharing cleaning responsibilities. I eat a plant-based diet, but don’t mind if those I live with do not. I will be needing a medium-sized bedroom or larger, basically room for a bed, a bit of storage furniture, and a space to put a good sized yoga mat. I have no pets but I like animals and I don’t have any allergies.
