Hi! Working graduate student here, coming to Waterloo for the Winter Term (January to April 2022) to study at the Balsillie School of International Affairs as an exchange student. For which I’m getting a scholarship, so my housing budget is relatively high (not that it made any difference in the 2,5 months I’ve been looking for a place at this point). I’m 26y old, from Germany, but been living in Sweden for the majority of my adulthood. I’m also a non-smoker and a relatively quiet guy, not much into large parties and rather prefer drinks and conversations with friends. I cook decent Japanese, Indonesian, Indian and German food, having lived in all of these countries during and in between my studies. If Canada works out (after 2,5 years of planning and postponing, thanks to Covid) it will be my 3rd outside-europe exchange semester, so I’d like to think I know how living abroad works. Unfortunatly Waterloo’s housing crunch has proofed the biggest hurdle of them all and hope this profile will help with solving that. Before I forget, vaccinated (of course) and scheduled to get my booster shot before departing to Canada.
