My name it Matthew Palmer, I have been a foster child which started my early profession as wanting to be a police officer, I later switched to social work, I have my BSW, slowly expanding to a master’s (but i stay in construction till I can expand into an office job, at the moment I’m too physically active to stay in an office). I am currently laid off because of covid-19, i have a job opportunity here in a few weeks too. so I am on I.A. (income assistance, at the moment. This however does make it my first month’s maybe second months rent need to be much lower then the 1000$ until things get settled in the next few weks/months. If i’m offered more then just a room I can go higher after the first couple of months), usually I’m a concrete carpenter year round, average 32-36$/h building wearhouses, its the busiest commercial construction industry in Canada right now. 3 years ago I made over 80k/year, last year 56k, after almost 3 months off work because COVID, now winter can sometimes be slow, I also do social services jobs when I can fit them in. I’m 30 years old, I have a wonderful girlfriend who owns her own place, she is getting her degree is in criminology; to branch off to be a lawyer. I’m just looking to live close to her. Right away if possible, I have had my first two Vax shot, getting my third as soon as possible! Text or email thanks! I don’t smoke, or have any animals or smoke pot, I haven’t walked into a liquor store since Xmas and that was just for everyone to join a Christmas cheers, I rarely drink and it’s been that for years now… if offered I’ll agree to a drink on special holidays.
