I’m a naturally quiet person and usually completely gone for entire weekends. I have a lot of my own furniture and I am very on top of cleaning my space. Looking for a roommate who is friendly, respectful, and clean. Ideally looking to rent a house and my job requires me to own a vehicle so I need parking as well. I work full time as a paramedic and I am a full time student at the U of M. I am also a non-profit director. So I’m usually gone a lot and pretty busy.

I have a sensory processing disorder stemming from a permanent disability that makes me very sensitive to certain sounds, if I know its going to happen then the sounds don’t usually bother me but what causes problems is when a landlord doesn’t inform me or my neighbours about it and I end up with noisy and unpredictable neighbours. My current landlord lied to me and said the apartment was sound insulated and he only takes quiet neighbours, he neglected to mention at the time I signed the lease that the reason it was so quiet was because there was no tenant above me. Now there is, and I now know that the place is not sound insulated which is why I am looking on here as I may be forced to terminate my lease and relocate.

My deadline is June but may decide to terminate earlier than that if my situation permits.
