Mary

Hi! My name is Mary (she/her) and I am starting a new job at the University of Toronto in mid-May. I am looking for a room to rent in the downtown area sometime in May-early June. I am happy to furnish my own room (actually I prefer it) and though I am not necessarily a “clean freak” I do like to keep all common areas tidy, for the sake of our mental health. I am a bisexual woman (LGBTQ+ friendly) and I have no issues with pets, smoking, friends over, etc. I am very laid back in general and am totally fine if you want to be friendly or just co-habitate and do our own things. I don’t have a long rental history since I’ve been living with my mom during lockdown, but I have saved up quite a bit of money during this time and am making a nice salary at UofT so coming up with the rent will never be an issue with me. Some fun facts about me: My aunt wrote the book series “The Vampire Diaries,” and this will be my first time living outside of the U.S.!
