Hey! I’ll be starting my first year of my PhD in Archaeology at Simon Fraser in September. I’m looking to live somewhere near the Burnaby campus, like a 35-minute transit commute max. I am super easygoing and fairly chill, so I think I’d get along with almost anyone as long as they were a respectful, honest, and emotionally mature person. Obviously shared spaces would remain clean and we would respect each other’s boundaries and whatnot. I am a very open and honest communicator, which I think is important when sharing living spaces. I am pretty studious, but I also like to go out for drinks, go to concerts, check out art shows, etc. I am a big fan of nature and hiking despite being wildly out of shape. I will have my dog Ruby, she is the sweetest little 14 lb shih-poo. Non-shedding, hypoallergenic, quiet, lazy, and trained. My budget is $1,000 +utilities, but obviously cheaper is better. I am trying to look at places that are affordable but also not total shit lol I have a few places I’ve seen that are nice, but haven’t locked anything down because I don’t have roommates lined up yet
