Hi there,

I’m Andy and I’m looking for a room in Vancouver from the mid-end of October on an indefinite basis. I’m originally from the UK and I’ve moved to Vancouver with work (I work in finance / consulting - for my sins).

I’m 27, an outgoing chap and have come to Canada from London for something new and to experience a different way of life. I’ve been in London for the past 3 years and whilst it has been a hoot, I have come to Vancouver to satiate my love for the outdoors and all things active. I’m originally from a nice part of the world known as the Lake District in the North West of England and so I like to think of myself as an outdoorsy guy at heart. I’m an avid skier and love to hike, camp, play footy (soccer) and I’d also like to try my hand at things like kayaking, paddle boarding and surfing. My approach is very much to have a crack at something, take risks and trying something new - Vancouver seems like ideal spot for that.

Being from the UK, I’m partial to a few pints in the pub, but being perfectly honest my heyday of going out regularly and painting the town red are long gone and my life perspective is now geared towards new adventures and fun hobbies.

On top of the the active side of my life, I enjoy going to the cinema / watching films, travelling and doing cool excursions and going out for dinner / having dinner together at home.
