Description

About Me: My name is Ankit (he/his/him). I’m originally from India and have been in Vancouver for almost a year now. I’ve been living independently since the age of 16 (with roommates or individually) and generally get along well with others. I have lived in different countries/cities, so am conscious about other’s culture, preferences and respect all. 100% queer friendly! I’m highly organized (just short of OCD) & love to keep the place clean. I am a non-smoker, teetotaler, and definitely don’t do any drugs. Plus, I know only a few people here, so won’t be throwing big parties. And I don’t have any pets.

Professional Details:

I work in Tech in a sales role. Have been doing that for 6+ years now. I just switched to another company (Salesforce) having their office in downtown opposite Waterfront. Hence, I’ll be moving out of my current accommodation to save on travel time. I’ll be going to the office 3 days and wfh 2 days a week, approx. though I have a permanent wfh policy.

Looking For: 1 bedroom ideally in a 2 apt./house with independent/shared bathroom from Nov 1 onwards. I don’t have furniture so would prefer the room to be furnished. Ideally the place should be at a walking distance of nearest transit station, not more than 5-7 mins as I want to limit my commute time to under 20 mins. Place should have good amount of sunlight, it sets the mood for the morning!

I like to cook and generally prepare 1-2 meals/day. Would love to connect with a roommate with whom I can share the social space (living area) and have some meals together. End of the day Vancouver is a lonely place, it would be good to do stuff together sometimes. Other times we can be respectful of each other’s space and let them enjoy their “me time”.

If this vibes with you. We should definitely connect!
