Hello!

Me and my girlfriend are looking for a relaxed environment to call home in Toronto, Ontario. We’ve been living Calgary, Alberta together for just over a year, prior to that we lived in Australia together for over a year and a half. My girlfriend is starting School in North York in February, so we are wanting to make the move prior to that, ideally on the 1st of January, to get a feel for the city.

I am British law graduate who is originally from the North East of England, i am currently holding a two-year work permit here in Canada. Linda, my girlfriend, is originally from Calgary and works full time as a Dental Assistant before furthering her career in Dental Hygiene in February next year. I am currently temping in administration, legal and accounting fields prior to settling in to my career. I have worked in a myriad of different job roles in Calgary, i currently work as an International Learner Representative at Bow Valley College, working within International Education. Prior to that i worked as an accounting clerk working Downtown in Calgary for over 3 months. I am proactively seeking employment in Toronto and will hope to have opportunities set up for when i arrive.

We are clean, extremely easy-going, respectful and like to socialise but also like time to relax privately. We see this opportunity as a great way to make new friends. We have lived together in shared houses before, here in Calgary and also in Melbourne and Sydney in Australia where we both spent two years and we both very much enjoyed these experiences and have made long-lasting friendships in the process. We are extremely flexible as to who we share any space with; professionals/students/travellers etc . We are both casual smokers but are cutting down, or at least trying to! We respect every person’s space and rules so, if smoking is not permitted in the property… there’d be no smoking in the property. Simple.

We would love to live around the North York area or any place central and close to public transport. Though, if the space is right for us, then we can make any area work. Whilst our budget is set at $1400, we are negotiable if the place is right. We are ideally looking for a space to call home for at least 6 months to over 1 year and would be interested in signing a lease.
