Hello everyone! I am looking for a private unfurnished room to rent in Ottawa, somewhere close to public transit, as I don’t have a car. (So ideal would be a walkable community area!) I am an introverted nerd who spends something like 98% of my time on the computer, as I work two part-time work-from-home jobs (teaching and bookkeeping), I am a student at Algonquin Online (doing the accounting course, very fancy), and my main hobbies are running writing events online and playing online D&D. I am fine with pets (especially cats, I’ve lived most of my life in a house with cats), I am very quiet (all of my listening to music or online video is in headphones, and if I have to be in VC or a phone call for work I’m out by 9pm), and most of my possessions are books. I don’t require much kitchen time, as my objective is to have my meal ready within 15 minutes most of the time. My goal rent is $800 or lower, but I’m negotiable on that if necessary. Aiming for an October 1st move-in date.
