Hello I am a single professional who is (3 months) new to Victoria. My housesitting placement has ended and I’m currently looking for a place to call home.

Although my preference is to live alone, I have concluded that in order to find a suitable affordable rental for myself and my Lab (a bright clean space where I can be creative, occasionally work from home, and have a place to be proud of), I am reaching out to explore the possibility of a roommate.

I am highly self-aware, with a professional, kind, and fun personality that loves people but really values my personal space and time alone!

My ideal roommate is (much like me):

I happen to love coffee and not eat meat. But if you don’t like coffee and eat meat… that’s not a deal breaker! ;)

And… must love dogs! I have a beautiful, lovely, gentle 9 year old blonde Lab who is in great health, loves car rides, hikes, walks, and swimming. She is popular everywhere we go in Victoria. She does really well with people and has volunteered with me at the CMHA & housing for special needs adults. Although she tolerates other dogs she prefers her people. I have close friends and former landlords that can attest to her temperament and that I am a responsible pet owner.

I am a counsellor, coach, and conversation facilitator specializing in working with singles. I have local Meetup groups for singles. I will be working with a local faith-based organization this fall and continue to grow my singles wellness initiatives, coaching groups, and counselling practice.
