Hey everyone! I am a Toronto native transplanted to Vancouver by way of UofA for my PhD in medical anthropology & religion. I am a long term practitioner of what I study: yoga, medicine, tantra in the Himalayan regions. I am looking for a peaceful & vibrant place to call home that respects the workload of a grad student while I work on my degree. I’m want to find some roommies who have similar interests in yoga, meditation, contemplative science, travel, good food, good medicine and lots of nature time. I have an eclectic background of travel/school/teaching and I’m open to all kinds of possibilities as long as there is honesty, integrity and communication with my co-habitants. I generally keep to chill nights, winding down by 1030/11 and in bed by midnight - up early, usually meditate/practice at end & beginning of day. I like to cook from scratch & eat a primarily veg diet with a bit of meat for health reasons. I love the idea of doing some shared meals/cooking together. I like things tidy but I am not obsessive (well maybe in the bathroom a bit! Toilet seat DOWN PLEASE!) , and expect that we all pitch in to keep our place clean. I don’t have any pets but love animals. My ideal place has private room & bathroom with shared living spaces and laundry in-suite.
