Hello. I am a 37 year old single woman. Although I am now disabled, I am College and University educated with a background in constitutional law and marketing. I am now unfortunately, disabled with gastroparesis. With that being said, wherever we choose to set down roots, I will require a work area for my furniture refinishing business that I have just started; although I would never be able to work for someone else, I’m just not one to be able to be stagnant… I need purpose in life!

I do not smoke cigarettes, drink, or use any drugs (I only smoke marijuana, as it helps with my appetite and insomnia); I would expect my ideal roommate to also be drug and party free. Cigarette smokers are welcome, however, I would never want anyone smoking cigarettes in the home.

A few more details about me:

• have a tiny Chihuahua puppy named Benito… He’s extremely sweet and affectionate. (Roomie MUST love animals)
• I have all the required furniture for the home. (Living room, kitchen/dining, and bathroom)
• I am a very strong willed and independent woman. Although many would call me straightforward and blunt, I am always polite and respectful. I just strongly believe in honesty and communication. Should any issue arise between us (which will naturally be bound to happen eventually), as long as we are able to respectfully communicate with each other; there wouldn’t be any issue that we couldn’t overcome.

My ideal roommate:

• into their 30s, 40s, or 50s. I don’t really have anything in common with younger people, and I am well past the partying age, and wouldn’t want a roommate that is still in that phase of their life.
• Again… MUST love animals. That’s a deal breaker because of my pup. (Also because I do not trust people that don’t like animals)
• Any sex and sexual orientation is fine with me. LGBQT friendly 😃 (I’m straight, but love all people from all walks of life)
• A non judgmental person. My ideal roommate would be kind and loving to everyone they meet: jerks need not apply! Lol

Our ideal apartment:

• As close to St. Joe’s hospital as possible (I have a plan of care on file in their ER, so I need to be in that neighborhood for my GP flare ups)
• 2 bedroom with a work area
• Has outdoor space of some kind
• Utilities inclusive
• MUST have a bathtub, as I get vertigo in the shower
