I’m a friendly Brit who just got permanent residency in Canada and after 7 months back home, I’m excited to be back in Vancouver and am looking for a cozy, furnished place to call home! I would be looking to move in on July 1st or sooner, if you have a room available that fits the bill, or know someone who does, please get in touch. I’m a 28-year-old geologist with a passion for exploring and have worked and travelled across Europe as well as in the BC interior. I’m currently working on a project in the Northwest Territories and will be spending most of my time up there for the next couple of months before we shut down for the winter break. When it comes to living together, I’m a responsible and considerate roommate. Cleanliness is important to me and I’ll do my part to keep things organised and tidy. While I value my personal space, I am also keen to have a friendly and welcoming atmosphere at home where we can hang out together. While I enjoy spending time with the people I live with, I am not looking for a party house, although I’d be more than up for having a few beers or a bottle of wine together in the evenings. I enjoy cooking meals for myself in the evening and am more than happy to share food and conversation with my roommates. Ideally, I’m looking for a furnished or partially furnished room in Kitsilano, Fairview, or Mount Pleasant, but I am open to other neighbourhoods as well. Long term would be ideal, but I’m open to short term options as well. Being close to public transport and cycle routes is a big plus as is a nearby grocery store.
