I am a 37 year old musician and teacher. I’m super clean, gentle, open, honest and extremely genuine and sincere. I acutely listen and am always respectful of the opinions, beliefs and life choices of other people. I’m highly empathetic and very concerned about the wellbeing of those around me. In situations of conflict, I am patient, able to agree to disagree, do not hold grudges, and resolve to find a workable compromise between the people involved. Everyone regardless of race, sex, gender, sexual preference, political views, religions and faiths are all equal in my eyes, heart and mind. I’m actually very interested in the different views of others, as we all have different cultural backgrounds, experiences, tastes, and even traumas that form who we are as unique individuals.

That being said, I prefer to live with others who are open, honest, fair, clean, quiet, and make an attempt to communicate their needs, likes and dislikes to me in a kind and gentle way. I believe in open communication and reciprocal conversation, as I believe these are our greatest tools for living together as we each pursue our own unique paths in life. I do not do well with dishonest, manipulative people as I believe it damages the trust of all those involved. I am also very open to constructive criticism of my shortcomings as a human being, because I’m trying my best to get along with those around me and prefer to be told if and when I am crossing a boundary I am unaware of. I also prefer to live with people who are devoted to being kind and patient in tolerating the mistakes of others, as I am always learning how to balance the boundaries of the people around me.

My biggest interest is increasing my knowledge of music, art, film, literature, philosophy, psychology, religion, different cultures, cooking, sports, dance, crafts, etc. I am a big reader. I love cooking. I don’t do drugs or drink (maybe I’ll have a drink every once and a while.) My mental, emotional and physical health is the foundation of my life, upon which I base all my pursuits, especially my original music, lyric/poetry and songwriting. I teach all guitar styles, bass, vocals and music theory at a studio and am extremely devoted to my creative pursuits outside of my living quarters.

All in all, since a near death experience, I am devoted to live in peace and harmony with those around me. Yes, I know it sounds cliche and too good to be true, but I need to live with sincere housemates that can help me become a better housemate along with them. Boundaries and communication are the key, and I respect any true-hearted attempt to holding these ideals. I am now so truly aware of emotional, physical and mental pain and suffering, sadness, loneliness and loss, that my empathy for the struggles of others makes me a good potential housemate. On the contrary, I can respect any request for solidarity, as I know the importance of personal space and boundaries, which I believe, from experience, is the basis of relating and sharing a common living quarters.
