I am an early 30’s male who relocated from Helsinki, Finland to British Columbia in the early August to begin working on the Service Design Team with the British Columbia Government. I had been living in Finland for 5 years now but it has been my dream to work as a Service Designer for the British Columbia government so I am excited about this opportunity and to focus on learning and growing professionally. As I will work remotely, I will need some space to focus on my work within my room or the house. I’m not easily disturbed and have lived collectively for the last couple of years. My schedule will be something like 8:30-4:45 working from home but occasionally I understand that I will travel to Victoria for meetings.

Outside of work, I am looking forward to the nature and biking opportunities in British Columbia and I’m excited that this house is located so close to trout lake! Also the yard and firepit look really amazing!! I really enjoy spending nights out in nature whether on a bikepacking trip or hiking. I like to live a calm life at home and look forward to living communally and respecting the shared spaces. I appreciate the idea of living communally and sharing meals and would gladly participate in collective activities. Additionally I value collective decision making and open communication at home and appreciate a nice home although I am also pretty easy going.
