Description

Aussie girl looking to move to Vancouver either September 1st or 15th. Currently live on Vancouver Island but going through a break-up, so wanting to move to the city where there’s better job opportunities, new people to meet, and…. MOUNTAINS! <3

I currently work remotely as a court reporter but will be actively seeking an in-office job once I move to Vancouver. I try to get out of the house during days off and weekends anyway, so I won’t be around 24/7.

I’m very clean, respectful, and open with communication. I am ideally looking for one to maximum three young professionals (male or female) around my age that I get along really well with, so we can team up and find a great place. Hoping to make this place a home rather than just somewhere to sleep, where we can share wine nights, board games, vent about co-workers at the end of the day, and adventure to patios or hikes on days off.

I enjoy hiking, camping, exploring new cafes and restaurants, photography, making YouTube videos, and love the board game and wine nights. Big fan of movie marathons with themed cocktails (hello Harry Potter nights and alcoholic butter beer) but I never get too messy and honestly, I’m usually in bed by midnight!

We will get along great if you love animals (I have a sweet, quiet 7 year old rag doll cat), getting outdoors and exploring new places, like being social and communicating but don’t necessarily have different people over every night, and are generally a friendly person. Bonus points if you love to get out and take a million photos with me haha.

We won’t get along if you hate cats, blast loud music past midnight, are drug friendly (sorry, I can’t handle 420 smells and don’t need roomies who do lines in Cactus Club bathrooms lol), have random people over all the time (just ask first and I’ll do the same!) or don’t clean up after yourself.

I am ideally seeking an apartment in Downtown/Yaletown or along the waterfront near the city, but cost-wise I am realistically looking at condos/high rise apartments in Metrotown and Brentwood areas near transit. I would be looking to rent the master bedroom with own ensuite and am happy to pay accordingly, or split rent equally and you can have the car park (I don’t have a vehicle currently).

Flexible on move date; just hoping to find some roomies with a similar vibe because who you live with can make all the difference! :)
