About the room

Spacious quiet apartment in a three-story walk-up. Right near High Park (5-minute walk), several coffee shops, bars and restaurants, Dundas West Station, and FreshCo (both 2-minute walk). Also a 5-minute walk from UP/GO Train to Union and Pearson.

Superintendent is amazing and very quick to fix any issues that come up, she also keeps the hallways/ entryway extremely clean. Neighbors are all very nice, quiet, and reasonable and I haven’t had any issues or complaints so far in the 11 months that I’ve been here. There’s laundry in the building, we have two washers and two driers and they’re not often all in use. We also have lots of garbage/ recycling/ compost bins, I’ve never had any issues with them being full.

The apartment is fully furnished & has all the necessities, but if you have your own furniture I’m totally open to moving some stuff around to accommodate it. The space is bright and has lots of windows, I have quite a few plants and am always open to having more (as long as they’re not toxic to pups, if they are they’d just have to be hanging/out of reach). I also have a window AC for the common area in the summer months which circulates pretty well and keeps most of the apartment pretty cool.

LGBTQ+ and 420 friendly, I don’t personally smoke but I’m totally fine with it as long as you keep it in your room and crack a window (so it doesn’t waft into the hallways). If you smoke cigarettes, however, you’ll have to keep that to outside only.

I do like to keep the common areas of the apartment very clean so I’d hope for the same from my roomie, I don’t mind doing most of the deep cleaning just as long as you clean up after yourself

About the roomies

I just turned 23, I’m a part-time online student taking Business at Algonquin College, and I work full-time at a bustling doggie spaw in Liberty Village (currently home full-time due to COVID-19). I’ve been living here for almost a year now. My current room-mate has moved back home to Bermuda for at least a few months due to COVID-19, so we’re hoping to find someone to occupy her room for a few months, but I’m also open to discussing possible longer-term arrangements as we’re both unsure of when she’ll be able to return.

I’m currently fostering a doggo named O’Connell, he’s super sweet, loves people and is 100% house-trained and very well behaved. I’m also giving him regular baths and de-sheds, so he’s a very hygienic pup (no dog smells or excessive hair around the apartment). He is also very short-haired, I have minor allergies to dogs and he hasn’t exacerbated them at all so far. Not sure if he’ll still be here by June 1st as he could find his forever home any day now, but I would love to continue fostering for this rescue so ideally, I’d love to find someone who likes dogs :)

My hobbies include: walking my foster pup, reading, cooking (mostly semi-healthy/vegetarian), bingeing Netflix, getting too invested in trashy reality TV, and watching an excessive amount of Tiktoks.
