Sofia's room

I am not listing an actual room, but I am looking for a roommate. Finding a good match is really important to me, and I want to find someone before I apply to apartments. I’ve come across quite a few two-bedroom apartments in the $2000 range, so splitting something along that budget would be ideal. Location-wise, anything along the QEW between Port Credit (Mississauga) and High Park (Toronto) is fine.

About me: I’m a female engineer (EIT) turning 25 this year. I work in Oakville, but I want to live somewhere a little more desirable (preferably around bars and the lake). As a roommate, you can often find me keeping to myself (probably working on my latest art project), however I am also definitely looking for someone that I can socialize with from time to time. I work a 9 to 5 so I’m not home too often. I’m okay with pets, however I am allergic to some types of cats :( I do have people over now and again, but not too often. I can be messy but I am dedicated to keeping shared spaces tidy. I often DIY my own home decor, and as an added bonus I come with some basic furniture and a robo-vacuum! Also, I absolutely insist that we find a place with a dishwasher and/or buy our own mini countertop dishwasher.
