About the room
This is a stacked townhouse with three floors, and two bedrooms on the second floor, which both have closets and windows. The apartment has one full bathroom and a powder room, as well as a dishwasher, in-unit laundry, central heating/AC, and a gas fireplace.
To me, the star of the place is the rooftop patio, which has a gas barbecue, seating for 6, a raised garden bed, lots of sun and shade, and a solid view.
The neighbourhood is a quiet little nucleus just north of Liberty Village, with tons of stores within a couple of minutes walking distance (Shoppers Drug Mart, Winners, LCBO, Canadian Tire, etc), three grocery stores (FreshCo, Metro, Longo’s), and a semi-private park. It sits between Queen and King streets, east of Dufferin, so there is great access to the TTC. The unit also has underground parking available for a monthly fee.
About the roomies
I’m a software developer, and the company I work for is very nearby (though we’re all working remotely currently). I have a bunch of hobbies, and just built a raised garden bed on the patio. My main thing is just to be considerate of people, so if you’re like that too, we should get along great. It’s important to be able to talk things out, and I think most roommate conflict can be solved that way.
