About the room
As of October 1st I have the largest room in my 2-bed ground floor apartment at Bloor and Bathurst going free and I’m looking for a housemate (there is the option to move in before if that is needed)! The apartment is bright and in an incredibly convenient location in the Annex, right between Spadina and Bathurst stations (5min walk to both). Central AC / heating, washing machine and drier, dishwasher and all other kitchen items are included. The bedroom is unfurnished but has a large mirror-ed built in wardrobe and comfortably fits any size bed and the rest of the apartment is furnished with my furniture. I’m in my late twenties and am looking to live with someone clean, that likes to laugh, wants to live in a place they treat like a home - not like student accommodation, and appreciates a balance of socialising and down-time. I’m currently working from home, but in normal life I work in restaurant management and my schedule is a bit all over the place - so if you’d prefer to live with a 9-5’er, this probably isn’t the right spot for you. $1270 per month + hydro + wifi ($15). First & last months rent required. There’s the option to sign onto the tenancy with me or to sublet from me. Parking is available on the street if a permit is purchased. Any questions just give me a shout / reach out if you’re interested or would like to organise a viewing of some description. I’d like to get this sorted sooner rather than later, so the sooner the message the more of a chance you have ☺️
About the roomies
I’m in my late twenties and am looking to live with someone clean, that likes to laugh, wants to live in a place they treat like a home - not like student accommodation, and appreciates a balance of socialising and down-time. Pre-covid I worked shift work managing a restaurant, and although I’m currently working from home, in normal life my schedule is a bit all over the place - so if you’d prefer to live with a 9-5’er, this probably isn’t the right spot for you.
I’m originally from England, but I’m currently doing my PR to stay in Canada permanently. I like eating out and cooking, I practice yoga, I’m learning Spanish and I became a surf instructor this year (not useful for Toronto, I know, but very useful for beach getaways..)
