Verrinder Avenue

Looking for one person to join us in a shared living situation in Rockland, right off of Oak Bay avenue on a dead-end, tree lined street. Room would cost $925, everything included (high speed internet, hydro, etc). Move in Sept 1. House is on the second story of a multi-unit home. It has a gorgeous yard (right now it’s just grass but maybe you’ll help us build some raised beds!), with a “shed” in the back that has heat and electricity to be either a guest room, a shop, or bike storage that is shared. In the house, there’s an open concept kitchen-living room. Hardwood floors throughout, two bathrooms and a clawfoot tub (!!), baseboard heating everywhere in the home. The house would be shared primarily with just me, and my fun, leash-trained cat. There’s a suite downstairs with a lovely couple that uses the shower in our part of the house. So, this would be ideal for someone who loves having alone time and their own space, but wants to live in community with other people.

The current members of the house value direct communication, tidiness, and want to live with folks who are actively engaged with anti-racism, lgtbqia+ positivity, etc. We’re mid to late 20s but could be open to live with any age or any gender. I work out of the house, and would love someone who has either activities or work that takes them out of the house at least once or twice a week.
