East 1st Avenue

Our dearest third housemate is leaving us for greener pastures and so we are now looking for another wonderful person to share the house with.

There is lots of natural light and hard wood floors, a south facing deck and yard with garden beds. Room is fairly large and unfurnished but the living/dining/kitchen areas are furnished.

We are looking for someone who likes to keep a clean house, is respectful, communicates well, recycles, is mostly vegetarian, or at least is fine to not cook meat at home. We share the house chores and are responsible for maintaining the yard (lawn cutting and tree trimming). It’s an older house so we are all conscientious about sound after hours and would expect the same from you. You would ideally be someone who is looking to create community not just a temporary place to live. Likes potlucks and doesn’t mind the occasional larger gathering. We enjoy hanging out together, cooking an occasional shared meal etc and both enjoy our own time and social circles too.

We are located on 1st ave and the bedroom is on that side of the house so if you are a really light sleeper it might not be ideal(The window is on the west side and is double paned so not bad when closed). Sorry, no couples.

Available: March 1st but flexible for right fit. $860 all included Shared Laundry in the basement. 1 bathroom with bathtub. Sorry no pets due to allergies. No smoking 1 year minimum commitment. Covid Vaccination required.
