Hi! My roommate and I are looking for a third person to share our laneway house with from October 1st. We are renting a bright and clean bedroom, which comes with a large closet and can be either furnished or unfurnished. The house is conveniently located near three bus routes (#3, #8, and #25), as well as the Canada Line Skytrain. Near both Main and Fraser, the area is full of nice cafes, restaurants, and grocery stores, as well as Queen Elizabeth Park. There are two shared washrooms (only one bath though), and a spacious shared living room and kitchen.

-1 BR available, with large closet (unfurnished, but can be furnished if you want). In 3BR laneway house.

-Fully equipped kitchen (Toaster, Microwave, etc.)

-Great neighbourhood, 2 blocks from Main & King Ed, lots of shops, cafes, etc.

-Easy transit access. Very near 3 bus routes (#3, #8, #25) and 1km from Canada Line Skytrain. ~1/2 hours bus ride to Downtown Vancouver, UBC, and Langara

-Rent + Utilities (including wifi, heating, etc.): $750/month

-Deposit: $350

-Available October 1st. Later date potentially negotiable.

-No parties, smoking, or drugs please (the landlord lives across the yard, and is very sensitive to that)

We are two young males in our 20’s. We first met doing stand-up comedy, and have been living together for the last month. We’re both members of the LGBT+ community as well, and my roommate is Cree-Metis. I’m a biology student at UBC, doing my honours project in ecology, while my roommate works full time at a non-profit nature charity. We both enjoy some alone time, but would love to socialize as well. In our spare time, we like to go out for ice cream, enjoy nature, and joke around with each other. I also love cooking, and would be happy to share :)
