Hafsa's room

Hey everyone! My friend and I are looking for a 3rd roommate (no couples) to live with us in Kitsilano. We are two Canadians in our mid-twenties. We just signed a 1-year lease effective October 1, 2020 for a furnished 3-bedroom, 1 bathroom main floor of a house. Your room would be $1200 wifi and utilities all included. This can come furnished for an extra 50$ for the first 3-4 months depending on the expense. The house is located on 10th ave, a 15-20 minute walk to kits beach, 8 minute bike ride, and a 20-25 minute bike or bus to downtown. We are located 2 blocks from the grocery store. There is a selection of pubs and restaurants nearby and we also have ample street parking and storage available.

I am 25, in my second year of grad school and am a social person. I love doing activities, eg. hiking, biking, snowboarding, yoga, and running. I’m also in the process of learning guitar and love all things music and comedy.

My roommate is 26 years old currently living in Toronto, ON. He is originally from Edmonton, Alberta, and have been living in Ontario for the last 4 years. He is working on a Master of Counselling and wants to become a therapist/counsellor who specializes with athletes while working full-time for Manulife (working from home). He played varsity soccer at the University of Alberta and is also an avid exerciser (running, weights, HIIT, etc.).

We are both huge music fans so hopefully trying to find a roommate who loves to have a variety of genres of music playing around the house when we’re all not working. We both love meeting new people, a fun night out drinking with friends/going out on weekends, trying new food/restaurants, and relaxing at the beach or in a park, love to explore Vancouver as a city. We are very clean, respectful roommates and would expect the same out of anyone we’re living with. We’re both social people and love hosting friends, but also equally love our down time. Also, we are both LGBTQ+ friendly. We know the importance of meshing with someone that we’ll be living with, so we wouldn’t mind a facetime / phone call to see if we vibe.
