About the room
The Room: Large (225 sq. ft) north facing, 2nd- floor, master bedroom overlooking a greenbelt. Comes furnished with a locking door, king-size bed with underneath storage, one dresser, and a big walk-in closet.
Master bedroom bathroom: Big bathroom with tons of counter space. Comes with a shower and bathtub. You get this all to yourself, of course!
The shared areas: Spacious two story house (2600 sq. ft). There is a cozy living room, family room, and a large kitchen that comes with all appliances. There is a also a shared washer and dryer. Additionally, there is a roomy deck overlooking the back yard and green belt.
General house expectations: It is expected that you take care of your private room and that you clean up after yourself in the shared areas. This is a house with university-age students who are studying at home most of the time and working on the side. They expect a roommate who can be respectful and quiet. There is no smoking or partying allowed.
Parking: No driveway parking is available but there is street parking available.
Ideally, we are looking for a student or young professional in their 20s, whose lifestyle fits in with those who are already in the house. We will be asking for references. Please let us know a little bit about who you are and feel free to reach out if you think that you would be a good fit!
About the roomies
There already two people living in this house:
Paula - Hi, I am a fourth year agriculture science student at UFV and working part time as a Plant Health Technician. I am working towards a career in the agriculture industry in crop protection.
I have lived in Chilliwack for the last 12 years, but only have recently gotten into hiking and exploring the outdoors. I also love travelling! I spent a year studying in France and have been to various countries including Colombia and Morocco. I am fluent in Spanish and French.
I am a studious and tidy person and I don’t partake in any smoking or intense partying. However, I am social, and always excited to meet new people!
Diego - Hi, I am a second-year Kinesiology study at UFV. I enjoy working out and training for track and field. I am social, but enjoy my down time. I do not drink or smoke. Looking forward to meeting the right person to become our roommate!
