Avenue Hope

I am planning to move back to my home city, and I am looking for a prospective tenant to transfer my lease to (ASAP, or starting Nov. 1). Our apartment has five bedrooms (four will be occupied, so there will be an additional bedroom), two full bathrooms, and is very close to Alexis Nihon and the Atwater metro station. You would be taking the room pictured on the first slide, which belongs to me; the apartment was originally unfurnished, but I would be willing to sell my desk, rug and chair at a large discount. The rent does not include utilities, so your expenses will come out to roughly $575 per person - an amount that is still lower than most properties on the market. Furthermore, you will be living with three other first-year/second-year students, all of whom are respectful and maintain the apartment regularly. The lease started on the 1st of September, is renewed annually and is signed jointly; ideally, I would prefer to transfer the lease to someone who could move in as soon as possible. You would be living with three other students:

1. Soumik is studying electrical engineering at McGill and is currently in his second year of studies. He is one of my best friends, and he is an extremely considerate and tidy individual. Furthermore, he enjoys playing soccer (or football, for those from abroad), cooking and he loves what he studies.
2. James is currently in his second year of software engineering at McGill. He is another one of my close friends whom I consistently studied with for my courses. He is a calm, well-mannered individual who is respectful of our boundaries!
3. Akshay is currently studying at the John Molson School of Business at Concordia. He is a kind, outgoing individual who we had the pleasure of meeting this year. He enjoys everything related to trivia, mathematics and pop culture.

These guys are very studious, especially given the increased academic load as a result of the switch to online schooling. As a result, I believe this apartment would be ideal for those who are looking for a good location to study in.

With regard to my room, I am currently in my second year at McGill, majoring in mechanical engineering and minoring in software engineering. I keep my room tidy, consistently clean the common areas and ensure that everything remains in the state I possessed the room in. Prior to your arrival, I would be willing to leave a few pieces of furniture behind to expedite your move-in process; the apartment was originally unfurnished, but my peers and I have fully-furnished it.
