Anna's room

Spacious, furnished room with access to the whole four-story house, a private entrance, plenty of safe street parking, and very quiet. Two kitchens with dozens of gadgets and necessities as well. All utilities included; as well as laundry detergent and toilet paper. (Room can be unfurnished if that is the preference but is currently furnished.)

Located generally in the Kitsilano area (Mount Pleasant). 10 minute walk to Safeway, 5 minute walk to various bus stops, super safe and quiet neighborhood. Pet friendly, smoking and cannabis friendly (but never done inside the house). Two blocks away from King Edward Skytrain station.

Couples are okay but a single individual is preferred because there are already 3 people sharing one bathroom. There is also another bathroom that’s community upstairs, and is a half bathroom. For the right person I am willing to share my private bathroom with someone when I’m at work.

There are 5 rooms in total, 6 people. 2 kitchens 3 bathrooms + 1/2 bath A huge backyard with a permaculture food garden and beautiful outdoor social space/cooking and eating space in the warmer months, a garage that has been converted to a wood workshop/art studio, storage space and tunnel greenhouse.

We are a community of people focused on inclusivity, acceptance, sustainability, and being eco-conscious. There’s currently one young woman, the house leader (non-binary), and three late 20’s men in the household. We’re all very chill and friendly and get along like old friends, but we also clean, organize, and clean up after ourselves. We’re looking for someone who can fit into this space with a sense of accountability and also vibe well with everyone - as we will be living together! There are 3 also hypoallergenic cats that typically stay in their respective rooms/spaces. Laundry on site.
