Frankie's room

1 furnished room, $1000, lots of light, in a 3 bedroom house in Kitsilano.

We’re looking for a new housemate to join our 3 bedroom house in Kits. The house is nice and spacious, full of light, big living room. There is a front and back garden both with a lot of sun at the moment, and plenty of space to relax on the grass, harvest some veggies, host some parties. One room is filled by me and my girlfriend. We’re 27-31, from Australia and France. The two of us share a bathroom, and the other bathroom is shared by you and our other awesome housemate from Chicago.

The location is really really good. 1 minute to IGA, London Drugs, Bars, Cafes on Broadway. 5 Minutes to Safeway, Wholefoods, lots more restaurants and shops on 4th. 10 Minutes to Kits beach.

The neighbours are awesome too. We live in the middle level of a 3 storey house. Everyone gets along well, we are all pretty chilled, completely happy doing our own thing, however also like to have drinks together. We would be happy to occasionally have meals, board games, drinks together and want someone who wants to live in a friendly environment as well as being tidy and will contribute to cleaning and buying of basic household supplies.

Some other details: there is coin operated laundry, there is storage space in a shed in the garden, bills are split equally by 4 (bchydro, internet), street parking is easy to find, we’ve started a veggie garden which you’re welcome to join in on, we have a 7 seater car and are keen to go on weekend adventures!

We are 3 open and easy people who like having friends around and value sharing good memories with people. Me (Frankie) and Johana are a couple of two years from Australia and France, and Austin is from Chicago and we met him when he moved in in September.
