About the room
I am looking for One Male mature sublet tenant (quite, clean, responsible, preferably professionals & grad students) to takeover my rented room during the summer time in my landlord’s refined and spacious house in one of the most elegant / comfortable neighborhoods of Mississauga. The house is in awesome conditions and offers the optimal bang-for-buck ratio for its tenants. Here are some of the highlights:
CONVENIENT COMMUTING: Less than two km from UTM (four minutes' drive, seventeen minutes' bus ride, twenty minutes' walk). Eight-Hundred meters from Sheridan Centre Mall / Bus Terminal (directly accessible via community lane) Walking distance to South Common Mall and the sprawling mall/store/dinery blocks along Dundas to the west of Erin Mills Pky Way; eleven minutes’ drive to Erin Mill Town Center Mall. Five to eight minutes’ drive to QEW, Highway 403, and Clarkson GO station.
SUPERB ENVIRONMENT: Locating within the middle-upper class community of Sherwood Forrest (average household income 125k) – serene, tranquil, elegant, safe; blocks of multimillion-dollar properties within the immediate neighborhood. Large and lush gardens in the front / back yards. Spacious deck in the backyard; new patio furniture.
PRIVILEGED RESIDENCY: The house underwent a thorough renovation in the summer of 2016. The subsequent inspection certified all of its internal systems / equipment as sound and well-updated. A new furnace/ventilation system and a new AC system were both installed in the past two years. Three-thousand sq feet’s space (nearly five-thousand sq ft including the basement) shared among ONLY FIVE residents. Impeccable hardware – fireplace, washrooms, kitchen, etc. all up to a high standard; nearly all appliances are new or semi-new, of reputable brands and functioning optimally.
About the Roomies
The Room Available: THREE Single bedrooms on the second floor: $ 750 per month plus utilities expense. (The utility expenses are equally shared by all residents. The monthly costs varies from season to season, normally within the range of $40-$60 per person.)
- The leases for all of the rooms are expected to be 12-month long in principle, open to the option of renewal or extension. (Tenants are encouraged to opt for long-term lease).
- There will be altogether Four to Five residents in the house as per the long-term arrangement: three to four on the second floor and one on the basement floor.
- There is one washroom on the second floor shared by three residents, in addition to two more washrooms on the main floor and the basement floor, both are shared. (In other words, 3 washrooms shared among 3-4 residents – the master bedroom has its own private washroom.)
- A full furniture set is provided in every room, including a single bed, mattress, desk, chair, 5-draw cabinet, bookshelf, nightstand, etc. All tenants of the house have free access to all parts of the common areas of the house (i.e. all of the halls, kitchen, washrooms, study-dent, garage, storage rooms, gardens, etc.).
All previous residents were unmarried males – they were all quiet, gentle, well-educated university students/professionals with busy schedules. New tenants are expected to fit the same profile.
