Tati's room

The room we are renting has a lot of character and a good size, with big windows over one of the walls. It has two small closets, with shelves and hangers. Currently, it is furnished with a desk, a chair, and a single bed, but we could manage to exchange for a double if needed. It is located on the main floor of a two-story house, with a beautiful view. You will also have a private bathroom. We live in a great neighborhood, about 35 minutes walk from downtown, a 5-minute walk from buses 21/7 and 3 stops (12 to15 minutes from downtown), a 6-minute walk from the supermarket and liquor store. The beach is right there, 30 meters out the door.

We are two cool girls living mostly on the first floor. Tati, 37 years old, and Sophie, 4.5 (yeah, she insists on the 0.5 part). Sophie goes to daycare from Monday to Thursday, full time, and Tati is an ecological modeler, currently working from home. We are not the quietest duo, especially on weekends (there are lots of laughs and chatting, and an eventual argument here or there), but we do have a good routine that we normally stick to. We love to cook and we do it almost every night (except Sunday night, which is Poke Bowl night!), we like to hike, we like to make art, and we like to watch movies every once in a while. We like to hang out in the kitchen with our roommate if he/she also enjoys it, but we are also very respectful of other’s spaces and we don’t mind a roommate that prefers his/her privacy. We like to keep the house tidy, but we are also not neurotic about it. The main rule we have at home is to clean after yourself, especially the kitchen. We also have a cleaning robot which we adore (and yes, it not only vacuums but mops too)! We are mainly looking for someone from January until April or May, as we will need to move out of the house, and even though we welcome foreigners, if our new roomie would be coming from abroad, we would need him/her to quarantine before moving in.
