Here’s a breakdown on the essentials of the space here:

Unit: This is 1 bedroom for rent in a four bedroom apartment. Price: $651.25/month plus Utilities (Gas, internet and hydro usually an additional $50-70/month altogether). Rent Control: Unit was used for residential purposes prior to November 2018. Location: Right in the heart of Leslieville (between Dundas and Queen St E.) Relationship to unit: I am a current tenant seeking a long term sublet for my room. Lease Terms: This would be a sublet beginning February 1st until August 31st, 2021 with the opportunity to take over the lease then. Move in date would be February 1st, 2021 (landlord permission has been granted). Move in date can also be earlier if needed, please message to arrange. Required documents for rent: Past Rental History / Proof of Income / Last month’s rent deposit.

Some additional information: This is an excellent second (and top) floor apartment. Complete with washer/dryer, dish washing machine, AC and a big backyard and BBQ for the summer. Room features a closet and the apartment (with the exception of the room) is furnished. Should you wish, the bed frame, which fits a double or can adjust to a queen sized mattress, with two lower shelves for clothing can be included. Washroom is shared. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate pets. Close walk to Loblaws, FoodBasics and Gerrard Square. About a 20 minute walk to the Beaches and Ashbridge’s Bay! The apartment is spacious, bright and in a fantastic location. Minutes away from craft breweries, coffee shops, fish markets and butchers. Steps away from Leslie Grove Park, Queen Street East, the 501 Streetcar, the 506 College/Gerrard Bus and 83 Donlands Bus.

Two of the three roommates are young, professional gentleman in their late 20’s who are very easy going! Andrew works as an actor and a house painter while Kyle works in property management. They are LGBTQ+ and student friendly and would be excited to get to know you! Both love film, cooking and are big fans of the East end of the city. The third roommate has yet to be decided as the original tenant has decided to sublet as well (they were accepted into a school out west) so if you know someone who is also interested there are actually two rooms ready for you!
