I’m looking for a roommate (male or female) who is either a mature student or employed full time outside the home to share a fully furnished two bedroom shared bathroom apartment in the central Clayton Park area. Roommate’s bedroom is well furnished with a queen sized bed, dresser, night tables and rocking chair, and is equipped with fresh, new bedding and drapes. I am a quiet, clean, positive retired professional woman…senior in years and wrinkles, but not in spirit! I volunteer much of my time to different endeavors, both within and outside of Canada, enjoy many hobbies and learning new skills. I travel a lot outside of Canada during non Covid times, so you would be alone in the apartment for at least four months of every year. LGBTQ and cannabis friendly. I cook and bake a lot, always interested in collaborative kitchen experiences. If you are interested in meeting, please reach out. • Rent is $750 per roommate (we would both would be protected and you would be added to the legal lease), plus half the costs of electric and wi-fi, roughly $70/month, free heat and hot water. Card operated laundry on each floor. Netflix and Amazon Prime video subscriptions included in rent.
• Clean, protected underground parking is available for an additional $50/month, free outdoor parking is available for one vehicle
• 2-min walk to major shopping, medical clinics, pharmacies, restaurants, bus stop etc, 10 minutes by bus or car to Bayer’s Lake, a few minutes walk from major Lacewood Drive transit terminal, close to pleasant walking trails
• Well organized building garbage disposal, within HRM recycling guidelines
