One large unfurnished bedroom in a three bedroom, one bathroom, two story, detached, furnished house.

$850 includes: utilities, internet, laundry, air conditioning, shared common spaces, backyard.

The room is fairly large and overlooks the backyard. There is one closet in the room, lots of extra closet storage in the house. A dresser can be included.

I’ve included pictures of the room furnished and unfurnished reference. A queen sized bed can easily fit. The long grey dresser can be kept in the space for your use, but it is otherwise unfurnished.

Location: Major intersection is Eglinton Ave West and Dufferin Street. Eglinton West Subway is the nearest. Easy transit to St.Clair West and Dufferin Subways. Bus stops are very near the house. Also near the 401 and Allen Road.

Things are calm, quiet and safe around here in our experience. Pleasant neighbours, and easy access to transit.

The backyard is small, but has a nice seating area, a grape vine trellis, a pear tree, a raspberry bush and lots of bamboo. We have a covered front porch. If you enjoy indoor plants, we’ve got you covered. There is an area suitable for gardening outdoors if you’d like to make use of it.

Requested Documents: References are appreciated (landlord, employer, other). First and last months rent with a signed roommate agreement will be required before move in.

Looking for: One individual roommate. A cat is acceptable, but other pets may not be suitable.

Hi there! I’m Morgan, and I live with my dear friend Miranda and my cat Midna. I went to OCADU and Miranda went to Toronto Film School, and we have lived in the city and in this home for a long time now.

We’re creative and a little nerdy. We’re both women in our late twenties, LGBTQ+ friendly. We love our home, and we are considerate room mates. We’ve known each other for over a decade and create an easy going, pleasant atmosphere. We’re looking for a reliable, kind, independent individual.

We’re clean and tidy, not obsessive, just responsible. As people who like to cook, garden, and make art, we understand that life gets messy once in a while.

Something to note: I primarily I teach online classes from home at this time, regularly in the early morning hours. My bedroom is my office and I always try to be respectful, but I can’t promise you’ll never hear me up and about in the morning chatting with students.

I also work as an artist and use part of the common space as a workroom occasionally, which you are welcome to make use of too! Sometimes I am out of town painting murals.

We have a lovely black cat. She could make friends with another cat if you have one, but no dogs please. She’s quiet and likes people.

We’d like just one roommate please, no couples or families.
