About the room
Note Recently I found out that I’ll be moving myself Sept. 1st, so this room is only available until then, but is still a good option if you need a place now until you find a more permanent one.
Looking for a roommate in my 2 bedroom apartment located in Scarborough in the Birchmount and St. Clair area. The room comes with a bed and dresser (pictured separately, the ones in the room will be moving), and the desk pictured in the shared living area if wanted. Also includes mid sized closet. To note, although the mattress included has been deep cleaned, and will be again prior to a move in, it’s old and I would recommend supplying your own.
The kitchen, bathroom and living room are all shared, and laundry machines are located in the building. Internet and utilities are included in rent amount, laundry uses a card system, and parking is available at an additional cost. Apartment also includes a balcony.
It is worth noting that we currently do not have cable TV, but do have access to Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, multiple sports streaming services and high speed internet for streaming shows and movies otherwise.
There’s a TTC bus stop located steps from the front door, and Warden station is a 15 minute walk, making downtown a 30 minute commute by TTC. A grocery store, fast food options and a pharmacy are all located within a 5 minute walk.
The apartment is on the 2nd floor of the building, but unfortunately there is no elevator so it is not accessible for people who may need that option.
About the roomies
You’d be sharing the apartment with me (Kyle, 25) and my cat (Doug, 8 months). I also own a snake but rest assured that she is never brought out into the shared area and you wouldn’t even know she existed. For the most part, I’m a fairly quiet and neat person so I’m looking for someone who is responsible with cleaning up after themselves. I’m big on movies, gaming and sports, but if you aren’t then it’s no problem for me to do those things quietly and without disturbing you.
To avoid accidentally misleading some people, I am LGBT+ friendly, however I myself am a cis het man.
