We’re looking to rent our family room with adjacent private bath in home near Guelph’s Centennial sports fields. The space and arrangement are ideal for a graduate student or professional seeking privacy in a comfortable smoke-free home.

Roughly 15x18 feet, the aboveground room at the back of our home has great light and ample footage for multiple spaces. More than enough for a bedroom area with a queen bed, TV/lounge area, study space and storage. Comes furnished, but with room for your favorite pieces.

There’s a 3-piece bath across the hall for your private use. You’ll share a junior-chef’s kitchen with homeowners who like to cook. There’s a generous backyard with multiple areas – deck, BBQ, hammock, raised vegetable garden and celtic cairn retreat. Parking for one car, laundry, basic wifi and Bell satellite, and utilities are included.

Available May 1 (possibly April 1) for $875 a month.

We’re a gay couple in our late 50s/early 60s. We enjoy interacting with our roommate in the kitchen and yard, but appreciate our alone time. One of us works from home and the other works a regular work week, so compatible schedules matters a great deal. A tenant rents our upstairs apartment and we take COVID-19 restrictions seriously.
