Dekay Street

Hi! This property is a duplex and we would share the the upper level of a house. The landlord lives on the lower level. The space isn’t very big but it has a lot of character. The building is older but it has central heat and ac (nest system) that can be adjusted from an app on your phone. Wifi is free to use from the landlord and there is an option to get our own if it isn’t as strong as you’d like (I’m always down for more gaming tech power). Both hot and cold water is included as well. We pay gas and utilities. The apartment itself is furnished but not the room for rent, you would need your own bedroom furniture! There’s a loft space upstairs that I’ve been using as a space for small storage and there’s a futon if guests come over (when covid is better). The property is a street over from the mount hope cemetery and it is quiet. The neighbours are all very nice. Walking around the neighbourhood is nice! We’re about 5 minutes by car to sobeys, Walmart, and shoppers etc. There’s no parking included but it’s an 8 minute walk to the Wellington/Moore bus stop. There is laundry machines in the unit, and a large balcony/porch. There’s no smoking. This unit is not accessible. There are stairs into it.

I am a 25 year old professional. I work as a nanny and spend majority of my free time playing video games and watching movies. I have 2 cats, smudge and bug, that I love more than life. I am a big fan of musical theatre and I love to learn new instruments. I would love to make a new friend. I have severe adhd, so there will be some things to learn about how I function. I would do much better with a neurodivergent roommate as well. I have a spot in my heart for cheesy board games and I do horror movie saturdays every week. I do twitch streaming sometimes, not too much though, and I would love someone who enjoys gaming :)

I’m quiet, and spend a lot of time at work, but I like to have fun and hang out when I can!
