Garnet Rd

Hey everyone! I have a room available for sublet May 1st - August 31st (move-in is slightly flexible if you need to move in sooner) It is an unfurnished bedroom in a 5-bedroom duplex. Rent is $750/month plus utilities that are split 5 ways with the other roommates(around $40/month in the winter). Utilities go down a lot in warmer months when the heat is not on.

LOCATION: The house is located on Garnet Rd near Shelbourne/Mckenzie intersection. About an 8 min walk from Tuscany Village (Thrifty’s, Rexall, Thrifty Liquor, Subway, Mucho Burrito) and also University Heights (Save-On, Home Depot, Tim Horton’s, etc.). The 27/28/24 bus stops are about 7 min walk and the 26 bus stop is about a 6 min walk.

THE ROOM: Relatively large (I fit a queen bed, very large desk, dresser, large 6 cube shelf without being cramped), and has a big window that lets in a lot of natural light and faces the backyard. The backyard is big and has a trampoline. You would only be sharing the kitchen, laundry and bathroom with one other person (as there is also a kitchen, laundry and bathroom upstairs).

You will share downstairs with one person (20F). She is very nice, but spends most of her time at a friends house so you would be able to get your alone time if you need it. Upstairs there is three rooms: two sublets (TBA), and a 21F. There is lots of socializing throughout the roomies but in this room it is very easy to have time to yourself. It’s nice to sit in front of the big window in the bedroom and look out into the large yard!
