About the room
Have the place to yourself! This two bedroom apartment is empty most of the time, as we have been staying out of town and working remotely during COVID.
Cat in the pic is not anymore, and is not coming back. RIP, Hobbes!
The price for this unit includes on-site outdoor parking, and all utilities, plus internet! It is an older building so it has its quirks, but the big bedrooms and huge balcony more than make up for silly inconveniences like old-fashioned kitchen cupboards (Donβt worry β the fridge and stove are brand new). Shared laundry is in the basement. Bike storage available.
Available bedroom comes furnished with a double bed and dresser. If you need it unfurnished, we can talk. The rest of the apartment is fully furnished and decorated, including everything you need like dishes, small appliances, and big-screen TV (we have upgraded since these photos were taken). We discourage roommates from adding large furniture etc to the common areas.
This little vintage apartment is decorated in a modern style and located at Yonge and Eglinton. This neighbourhood is incredible, and it gets better every year. The Eglinton Subway station and everything else you need is less than a 10 minute walk away: a brand new Loblaws to get groceries, LCBO, banks, movie theatre, Shoppers Drug Mart, post office, Starbucks, convenience stores, outdoor running track, and outdoor dining. Plus lots of cute restaurants will (hopefully still) be there after all the lock downs and craziness is over.
COVID-19 safety: In addition to the usual precautions, if you are COVID-19 sensitive you should know that there are only 30 units in this small building, so you wonβt be in contact with many people. Unit is on the second floor so there is no need to take the available elevator; you can use the stairs.
About the roomies
We are hardly ever there, currently staying out of town due to COVID-19, so you will have the place mostly to yourself β for now! One of us usually comes down for a couple days monthly to check on things, and pop into our nearby workplace. We plan to move back in full-time once this all blows over.
We are a lesbian couple in our 30s. LGBT friendly attitudes are a MUST! No bigots here, please.
