Hey there, I have a kind of unusual situation, I have a house I’m renting I live upstairs. I’m looking for someone to rent the basement and help me out.My current roommate is moving out Aug 1st. The landlord is letting me look for someone to help me out. I’m looking for an animal lover cat and reptile. I have animals I need taken care of while I’m gone I have 2 cats, 2 lizards and a snake. In exchange for animal care love and affection I will cover utilities (summer is 300 winter up to 600. It’s an old house) I realize the unusual situation, my options are find someone new or rehome my cats, Which I’m prepared to do.

A little about myself: Im 26, I work oil & gas I am home maybe 3 months out of the year. I enjoy hiking, camping, backpacking when I am home. I’m super easy going bit inwont put up with bs. Despite my industry I’m quite introverted not a partier, small social circle. I do like loud music but have always been respectful of hours. If I could find someone with similar interests that would be best. I’m not asking to be best friends just civil adults.

About the house: The basement is a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom, full kitchen. Carpet in bedrooms laminate in living room kitchen. House has a backyard with small garden beds if that’s an interest to you. Rent is 1000. Damage deposit required. You will meet the landlord. Her and I are still working out the logistics of the leasing but it wall all be above the table legit. I will also have an agreement for whoever ends up renting for my animal care. I know dogs are not allowed any other pets would need to be approved by the landlord.
