Ami's room

2 unfurnished rooms available in a semi-detached house located walking distance to U Ottawa and public transport. The area is perfect for students and young professionals. The first room is on the second floor and has lots of natural light. The second is in the basement but has a window that lets in quite a bit of light. There are 1 and a half bathrooms, the full bath is located on the second floor and the half bath is in the basement. Both rooms are large enough to fit a queen size bed (if you’re stubborn enough). Laundry and water are included and there is one parking spot included as well. The house has 6 bedrooms but one is quite small so we are going to use it as extra space. I have way too many hobbies but I mostly spend my free time watching YouTube, playing the sims, drawing, and baking. Expect the house to be full of baked goods at all times. I’m generally more introverted but I do enjoy having people around as long as I have my own space I can go to if I’m overwhelmed.

Mystic: [19, she/her, student] hi my names mystic! i’m a third year student at carleton university currently taking psychology w a polisci minor, so i love talking abt politics and social justice. i love reading, astrology, and tarot. plus will give you free chart readings :)

Alicia: [21, she/her, Student/Barista] Hi, my name is Alicia and I’m an incoming law student at uOttawa. I’ve been a barista for 2 years, and I enjoy reading, gaming, anime, and kpop (unfortunately). A healthy mix of introvert and extrovert for the most part, as I enjoy my free time hiding in my room, but I would still most likely come knock on your door if I’m feeling lonely. PS: I want a cat. The others have enthusiastically agreed, so we WILL be getting a cat. You have to be okay with that.

What we are looking for in a roommate: we’re a relatively chill and welcoming group but basic roommate courtesy is a must, so open to communication, cleaning up after yourself as much as you can, not throwing ragers at 3am, etc. General disclaimer that some of us need to get up very early for work, so please take that into consideration (for us and for yourself!). Just generally looking for friendly people that can match our vibe! :) (Honestly you can probably vibe check yourself after reading the “group vibes” section)

Group vibes: anime night marathons, the house will be a jungle (succulents welcome), self-deprecating jokes, “it’s mental illness luv”, eat the rich (snacc), worship cats (not to be confused with Cats (2019)), exercise is the devil, conservative-phobic (comrades are welcome).
