Hi all, lots of messages. If you haven’t heard directly from me yet, I’m chatting with a few people already. Thanks for your patience :)

The place is a 2 bedroom ground level apartment right beside the heart of Cook St village. 10 minute walk to Dallas Road beach, 2 minutes from Beacon Hill Park, and 10-15 minutes from downtown Victoria. Roughly 800 square feet, carpet and laminate flooring, classic apartment small kitchen, open living room space. The bedroom has a big closet, window, blackout curtains (tbh curtains are ugly), and is carpeted. Only one bathroom so we’d have to share (tub/shower). The rent is 850 per month utilities included, everything but the bedroom is furnished. Parking is available for a cost, I think it’s $60 a month, but I’d have to check. I usually park a block away on a free parking street. No dishwasher :( no in suite laundry (I wish!) Laundry is a coinamatic card that we share. The apartment itself isn’t too exciting but I love the location, that’s why I can’t leave!

My name is Hannah, I’m 29, working professional. I’ve been working from home since March 2020, but now going into the office part time (2 days office, 3 days at home). I like eating well and being active (gym, hiking, biking, camping) also like movies and hanging out or meeting up with friends to grab a drink and catch up. I usually don’t host often but would like to invite friends over for coffee, a movie or dinner. My partner moved away for school, so we’re doing long distance, he’ll be in town for 10 days in Nov (staying with me), and I’ll be leaving for some time in the Spring to visit him. For the sake of transparency, I’m thinking about leaving Victoria in roughly May of next year. So we could look into transfer options if you want to stay. I can afford to live on my own but I do like living with a like minded person. Ideally, I’d like to live with someone who would like a new friend, is respectful when the bedroom door is closed, knows how to have a good time but is not noisy past 11pm on a work night, and is ok with me working part time at home.
