In spacious apartment with shared fully equipped kitchen, living and dining rooms, several balconies. All utilities (hydro, heat, water, Wifi, phone connection to downstairs) included. The Wifi is on a timer, it goes off automatically at 11 pm (though can be put back on easily in case of emergency or real need).

The building has washers and dryers downstairs (and there is a working dryer at no cost in the apartment). It also has a gym, a pool and sauna, and a doorman.

The building is located in a lovely Sandy Hill neighborhood steps away from several bus lines and beautiful parks. The University of Ottawa, the Ottawa Art Gallery, two grocery stores and many cafes are within a short walk.

Because the apartment is East-facing and the Wifi is off overnight, this room is best suited to a person who, like myself and my current room-mate, is quiet and goes to bed relatively early.

No pets, smoking, strong scents or toxic chemical products. Seeking a quiet, responsible, neat and considerate room-mate, females preferred. Will not rent to a couple.

The apartment will be shared with myself and one other room-mate (who has their own bathroom, so the bathroom is shared with just myself). We are quiet, considerate, and committed to keeping our environment clean and pleasant.

I am a medically retired 60 year old woman who used to work in communications for governmental and non-governmental groups. My current room-mate works at a local non-governmental organization. We both appreciate diverse, considerate people.

I have environmental sensitivities so need to maintain a clean environment free of toxic chemicals. I have progressive social and political views and try to live my life accordingly. We have systems set up in the kitchen to maximize reuse and recycling and keep working on reducing.

I like to live in a clean, quiet, well-kept environment and am looking for a room-mate who is of the same mind. I am Covid-vaccinated and would expect my room-mate to be as well, or to have reasons why not and a clear alternate path to avoidance of the virus.
