HUGE penthouse suite available in Yaletown from the 10th of June. Current roommates are a couple who are unfortunately leaving Vancouver, so looking for a new roommate or two!

Details: 2 bedroom 2 bathroom + den open plan apartment unit, on the 25th floor in Yaletown (1260sqft). The master bedroom is up for grabs, with its own giant bathroom (with bath), a walk-in wardrobe, plus additional storage cupboards in the room itself. Room furnishings (bed, mattress, table – depending on what is required) can be included if needed. Both rooms are on opposite ends of the unit, and the lounge, kitchen, dining (which fits an eight-seater dining table!) is essentially fully furnished so you won’t need to get many things, although plenty of extra storage too if needed. Gas stove, dishwasher, microwave, double door fridge, in suite washer and dryer. There’s also a gas fireplace and BBQ on the balcony for use.

Amenities include gym, hot tub, sauna, bike rack, storage locker, party room, pool table, guest suites. Central to public transport, Nesters, IGA, Choices all within 5 minute walking distance. Am flexible and open to looking either a single roommate or a couple, am to willing to negotiate rent wise for a single if the fit and vibe is right to make it work. Utilities would be split evenly.

About me: Working professional in healthcare. Occasionally do shiftwork, other times working from home (have an office set up in my room). Love cooking/food (don’t have any dietary restrictions so would be happy to share meals, check out restaurants), photography, travel, board games and am a plant dad. Like my alone time, although also pretty social (work permitting) and enjoy hosting. Am easy going and have lived in multiple shared accommodations previously.

Pros: I can make epic charcuterie boards, and have a chocolate fountain. Cons: You have to put up with my love for Disney, Marvel and themed holidays on occasions.

Ideal roommate(s): A rooomie who is clean, reliable and financially stable. Someone who is also willing to be friends rather than just cohabitating e.g. go out for drinks at the end of the week, watch a movie, explore the cool spots and events Vancouver has to offer etc. Finding the right fit is essential for me and am very open – preference would be to meet, hang out etc. on a few occasions beforehand prior to committing.
