Avenue Coloniale

Our apartment includes hardwood flooring all throughout and a newly renovated kitchen, as well as two beautiful balconies which look out over both our street, towards Mont Royale, and towards the rising sun in the mornings. In the midday, the sun spills through the front balcony door and across the entire living room, making the house always feel radiant. The living room is combined with the dining area and makes for a cozy relaxation space for doing art, watching movies, and sharing a meal. The bedroom being rented has a large skylight instead of a window, which makes every morning sunny and lovely, but a curtain could be installed too if too much sun became an issue. The room is midsized, but it has room for a queen bed, dresser, clothes hanger, and bedside table which will all be available to purchase. The kitchen has a dishwasher, laundry machines, lots of shelf & counter space, and connects to the back balcony. The apartment is located in walking distance to St. Laurent, Park La Fontaine, Mount Royal, and McGill, and has a very convenient selection of grocery stores, boutiques and entertainment in the neighbourhood. The nights are never too loud, as our street is quite calm, and the neighbors are all extremely chill. It truly is a lovely space to live in any time of the year :)

We are looking for our fourth roommate to fill up our last bedroom when renting this apartment, and, currently, we are a group of three. There’s me, Kai, a non-binary pan legend who is very into archaeology, computer science, video games, guitar, cooking, and making miniature trinkets; there’s Imani, a super sweet agender person who loves plants, natural history, all things colourful, and jewelry making; there’s Alia, another enby sci-fi nerd who is into all the best music, is genius, and will probably invent the ability to bend space-time, and finally Obsidian, our very affectionate and silly 3 year old shorthaired cat. We prefer queer people and/or women and would love to have someone with a chilled out and friendly vibe to share the apartment with and hopefully be good friends with too!!
