About the room

Located in Notre Dame De Grace on Sherbrooke street west, less than 10 min bus ride from Concordia’s Loyola Campus and about 35 min from Concordia ‘s Sir George Williams’ campus downtown. About 5 min walk from a Provigo and Pharmaprix (Loblaws and Shoppers drug mart). 15 min bus ride to Vendome metro station. On the first floor. Two bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom, two hall closets, combination living/dining room. The washer and dryer are in the building on the floor below us. The apartment has heating. The current pictures are from my previous roomate’s stay, my current roomate has a lot more furniture so this does a better job of showing the space, but if/when you come to visit the room will be set up differently. The room will be unfurnished when you move in, but the rest of the apartment is furnished (cups/plates/cutlery/kitchen appliances, stuff you see in the living room, etc).

About the rent and bills: The apartment is 1380/2=690, plus wifi which is 57.49/2=28.75, so that’s 718.75. Then there’s hydro (electricity) and energir (gas), which are every other month and fluctuate in price, at most its brought the total rent up to about 740$ but I put 750 to be safe, but I’ll do the exact amounts month-by-month.

The rent will go up in July as that is when the lease is renewed (boo!!!!).

About the roomies

Hello! My name is Laura, im 22 (she/her). I’m in university, and the room will be available as of April 1st. I’m quiet in that I’m not someone who hosts big parties or blasts music, but I am very chatty and would like a roommate I can be friends with :). I like art, video games and cartoons! I’m looking for someone who is clean, quiet and considerate, if you’re someone who likes to throw ragers I might not be the right fit for you lol! I do cook with and eat meat so if you’re a vegan/vegetarian that might be something to consider in terms of your comfort.
