Available MAY 1st THE HOUSE: She’s just a 1980’s duplex from the outside, but INSIDE the house is spacious, bright & welcoming. There is laundry, a tonne of closet/storage space, lots of kitchen cupboard space, & a dishwasher. More plants & people with green thumbs are always welcome! The shared areas are furnished & there’s a base of pots, pans & dishware - but there’s more than enough space for more kitchen things to be added (& we can always move furniture around to fit a treasured item into the living room!)🙂 One of the great features of this house is the number of bathrooms: one shared full bathroom upstairs (bathtub/shower), 2nd bathroom downstairs (shower), and the master bedroom has a 1/2 bathroom ensuite - so anyone can always soak in the main bath without worry! Street side parking is easy, buses downtown, across town & out to Langford are 1 block away, and there is a bike rack at the front of the house. THE ROOM: the available room is small like mine (about 10X11) but easily fits a double bed (previous roommates have had queen, current picture shows a single) dresser & desk, has a large closet & a sunny window looking over the back yard & garden. ($860+ utilities & shared internet) LOCATION: Vic West, 20min walk to downtown, 5mins to the Galloping Goose and E&N cycling routes. The local area has Spinnakers Pub, Spiral Cafe & Cafe Fantastico all 5mins. The coolest little organic grocery store in all of Victoria, a Castle Hardware, shopping centre for groceries, post office, restaurants & etc. Beautiful seaside walks, little community parks - it’s a pretty great ’hood! The Landlord lives next door & is truly super.
